Santa Barbara Farmers Market Portrait Session
What happens when a chef and a social justice advocate fall in love? Their philanthropic hearts beam, and they begin creating farm to table care packages of course!
Tina and Jarrett shared with me that they like to wake up early, grab their coffee, and head to the Santa Barbara Farmer’s Market to hand select items not only for themselves, but for the care packages they curate. When they said they wanted to have their portrait session here, I couldn’t have been more excited!
The three of us met up on a sunny and brisk coastal morning, and I instantly knew it was going to be a great day. Seeing Tina in her element, was like watching a child explore a new playground. Eager to try new things, and chatting with new and old [farmer/chef] friends. Jarrett was just as thrilled, as he hand selected items he loved and wanted to try, sharing with me their process while we walked around. With all of the delicious produce, fresh farm goods, and vibrant flowers they were both in heaven. Call me a romantic, but love was definitely in the air!
Since we are still in the middle of a pandemic, we were extra careful about physical distancing. Although this magical photography session took place in a public location with other people, I made sure to sneak them away to secluded areas so they could fully relax while enjoying their portrait experience. Seeing them smile, lean in together while laughing, and share bits of their life was such a joy to be part of.
Tina and Jarrett exude authenticity, love, and a whole lot of joy. Needless to say, this portrait session at the Santa Barbara Farmers Market was one for the books!
